When We Answer and When We Arrive

What happens after I call?

You'll be talking to a licensed plumber within the first few seconds, not working through a menu. They'll ask what's going on and give you something practical to do while help's on the way.

How does the callback form work?

Type in your number and a line or two about the problem, and the return call comes from a licensed plumber, not a sales rep working through a list.

How fast can you get here?

Fairlight's part of our everyday territory, so a van's rarely starting from far away. We move on-site fast rather than promising a specific time we can't guarantee.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Water spreading somewhere it shouldn't, a complete loss of hot water, a drain or toilet that's stopped altogether, or any gas smell. Any one of those justifies the call.

Pricing, Explained Honestly

Do nights, weekends or public holidays cost extra?

No loading, ever. A job priced at 2pm on a Tuesday costs the same as the identical job at 2am on a Sunday.

How can I pay?

Card or bank transfer both work fine. You settle up once the job's finished and you've checked it yourself.

Is the quote really free?

Yes, genuinely. Getting a licensed plumber to look at the problem and price it up doesn't cost you anything, whether you go ahead with the repair or not.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. The $0 Call Out Fee means having someone come and diagnose the issue is free, no catch attached to that word.

Fairlight Knowledge

Why do Fairlight's older homes keep us busy?

A fair number of houses here go back to the Federation years, and whatever plumbing went in then has been quietly ageing behind the walls ever since. Hot water units and old joints are usually first to give out.

Which suburbs do you service?

Fairlight plus the neighbouring stretch of the Northern Beaches: Manly, Balgowlah, Seaforth, Manly Vale and Freshwater. Not sure about your specific street? Just call and ask.

What does heavy rain do to Fairlight's plumbing?

Winter brings harbour storms that send water charging down the suburb's steep streets, and the older drains near the foreshore can struggle to keep pace. Those are the nights our after-hours drainage calls spike.

Do tree roots really block drains around Fairlight?

They do, especially around the older blocks with established trees, the streets near Manly Cemetery being a good example. A root finds the smallest gap in an ageing clay joint and the blockage builds from there.

Done Properly, By the Book

What does the Lifetime Labour Warranty cover?

It covers the labour on whatever we've repaired, for as long as that repair stays in place.

If something's not right, we come back. No questions. No cost.

Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or the water authority?

It comes down to where exactly the blockage sits. Your fixtures through to the property's connection point are your responsibility; anything past that boundary belongs to the water authority, not something you'd be billed for.

Can I check your plumbing licence?

Of course. Lic #275278C is printed on the van and the paperwork, and you can look it up against the NSW register yourself whenever you'd like.

Are you licensed and insured?

Every single plumber on our team is. It's not a selling point we mention occasionally, it's simply how every job gets done.
